Care Instructions
Before First Use
  • Gently pull the teat in all directions and carefully inspect it for any signs of weakness or damage.
  • Always sterilise new dummies after removing them from the packaging.


    • Replacement
  • Check your baby's dummies regularly, replacing them every 4-6 weeks or at the first sign of damage or weakness.
  • An enlarged or sticky teat means that it is ready to be replaced.


    • Cleaning
  • An important part of safe pacifier use is keeping your little one’s pacifiers clean and sterilized, especially during the early months when their immune systems are more vulnerable. Fortunately, pacifiers are easy to care for, and there are several simple methods to keep. them clean and free from bacteria. Just follow this easy care guide BIBS has made for you.
    • Safety

    Complies with the European Standard EN 1400+A2

    For your child's safety:

    • Inspect carefully before each use.
    • Pull the soother in all directions.
    • Throw away at the first signs of damage or weakness.
    • Only use dedicated soother holders tested to EN 12586.
    • Never attach other ribbons or cords to a soother.
    • Do not leave a soother in direct sunlight or near a source of heat, or leave in disinfectant (“sterilising solution”) for longer than recommended, as this may weaken the teat.
    • Never dip the teat in sweet substances or medication, your child may get tooth decay.
    • Renew the soother after using it for 4-6 weeks for safety and hygiene reasons.
    • A natural rubber latex teat can expand slightly when used.
    • Always monitor the baby when using a soother.

    In the event that the soother becomes lodged in the mouth, remain calm; it cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event. Remove from the mouth with care, as gently as possible. The teat is made from silicone or natural rubber latex. Teats produced from natural rubber latex can provide an allergic reaction to some children. Do not use a soother that has changed color or presents irregularities.

    Round

    Preferred by breastfed babies

    The Round shape closely resembles the shape and size of a mother's nipple. This design promotes a similar tongue placement and sucking technique as when breastfeeding. The nipple is equipped with an air-release valve that allows it to flatten and conform naturally to the baby's oral cavity as they suck.

    Anatomical

    Mimics the oral anatomy to stay put

    The Anatomical nipple is curved on the top and angled at the tip to contour naturally to the baby's palate, supporting healthy oral placement. It is equipped with an air-release valve which allows the nipple to flatten and adapt to the baby's mouth, reducing pressure on the jaw and gums.

    Symmetrical

    Designed for gentle, even oral placement

    The Symmetrical nipple has a flat-drop shape, accommodating babies who prefer a flatter design. This shape promotes a natural tongue placement and requires less sucking effort for the nipple to flatten. Like all BIBS nipples, it has an air-release valve to ensure the pacifier conforms comfortably to the baby's oral cavity.
